Career & College Planning

Preparing for life after high school is an exciting time, and ARCS is here to support its students and families!

Preparing for College

Students that are planning on applying to four-year colleges and universities will need to take a standardized exam prior to their application deadlines. Preparation for these exams can begin in the 10th grade.

Dual Enrollment in Community College

ARCS students have a wonderful opportunity to take community college classes at the same time as their high school courses! Most ARCS students choose Folsom Lake College or Sierra College. Please see your Supervising Teacher or Laura Moneypenny for more information on how to sign up!

Military Service

Serving the United States in our Armed Forces is an excellent opportunity to continue your education and give back to your country. You can also earn free college tuition through the GI Bill after completing your service!

Community College

Many ARCS alumni continue their education by enrolling in our local community colleges.

California State University and the University of California System

California is fortunate to have some of the most reputable and sought-after universities in the world!
